It's the 40th anniversary of the first Rapture (film)! The version of The Exorcist I screened for this review is the 2000 theatrical re-release entitled The Exorcist: The Version You've Never Seen. Make sure to get the 40th Anniversary edition, it's pretty cheap. This year, December 26th, will mark the 40th anniversary of The Exorcist's release. It was decades since I saw Night of the Living Dead and I happened to win the 40th Anniversary disc at a recent holiday party.
